The module shelves had to be precisely aligned to accommodate ASRS robotics reliably. One element that is complicated with these ASRS shelves was that the shelves had to be adjustable within precise parameters. This is why the manufacturer turned to EGA manufacturing expertise to build the modules with precise spacing to specified tolerances.
