Using Work Platforms in the Workplace Safely

Of course, it is required to use industrial work platforms safely and securely. Always follow the manufacturer’s directions on the platform and place the platform in a secure location. If you are using a mobile work platform, do not move it while another person in on it. If you are using a stationary work platform, do not place the platform on uneven ground so it becomes off balanced and wobbly. Follow maintenance instructions and any safety tips mentioned on the platform itself. Take note of the weight capacity and follow all other directions.
